Greenfield's youngest tournament team put together an impressive team performance against Squirrel Hill in the West Mifflin Tournament, winning 13-8.
The Greenfield bats were hot in the first and fourth innings. Both innings were stopped after Greenfield had already racked up its five-run-per-inning limit.
Both Max Gallagher and Greyson Pegher went 3 for 3 on the day, and the offense was rolling.
Defensively, the infield got most of the balls and played them smartly. Ryan White and Griffin Dworek anchored the infield at shortstop and second base, making several key plays.
Congrats to the 7s for a great start to the tournament season!
